After graduating from Istanbul Pertevniyal High School in 1988, I completed my medical education at Çukurova University between 1988-1994.
I completed my compulsory service as a general practitioner in 1994-1995 at the Ardahan State Hospital Emergency Clinic and in 1995-1996 at the Ardahan Mother and Child Health and Family Planning Center.
I worked as a general practitioner in Adana Karataş Yüzbaşı Health Center between 1996-1998.
I worked as an assistant in the Anesthesia and Reanimation Clinic in Istanbul Koşuyolu Heart Hospital between 1998-2000.
I worked in the Emergency Clinic of Istanbul Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital between 2000-2002.
I did my psychiatry specialization at the Psychiatry Clinic of Haydarpasa Numune Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul between 2002-2007. With my thesis titled P-Wave Dispersion and QT Dispersion in Electrocardiography of Patients Diagnosed with “Generalized Anxiety Disorder”, I investigated heart rhythm changes especially in Generalized Anxiety Disorder among Psychiatric Disorders.
Between 2008-2010, I worked as a Psychiatry Specialist and Deputy Chief Physician at Erenkoy Mental and Nervous Diseases Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul.
In 2010, I completed my “Master’s Degree in Hospital and Healthcare Institutions Management at Beykent University Institute of Social Sciences”.
Between 2010-2014, I worked as an Assistant Professor at Tekirdag Namık Kemal University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Mental Health and Diseases.
I taught Behavioral Sciences, Mental Health and Diseases, Life Skills and Social Activity courses at the Faculty of Medicine of the aforementioned University, Geriatric Psychiatry courses at the School of Health Vocational School, Psychiatric Nursing and Nursing Management courses at the Department of Nursing at the School of Health, and Health Institutions Management Master’s degree courses at the Institute of Social Sciences.
I received the title of Associate Professor in 2014.
I worked as the Head of Medical Services at the General Secretariat of the Kırklareli Province Public Hospitals Union between 2015-2016.
I worked as a Psychiatrist at a private hospital in Istanbul between 2016-2017.
I have national/international scientific researches especially on Schizophrenia, Anxiety Disorders, Psychocardiology, Psychodermatology, Depression, Burnout Syndrome, and Psychopharmacology.
I am currently serving my clients as a Psychiatrist-Psychotherapist in my private clinic on Bağdat Street in Kadıköy, Istanbul.
