How Do Psychiatry and Psychotherapy
Processes Progress?

Those working as psychiatrists and psychotherapists act contrary to the belief that everyone who applies to a psychiatrist will be prescribed medication. After the first evaluation, they provide the necessary explanations related to the conditions of their clients and then decide which of the options of medication, medication + psychotherapy, or psychotherapy alone is needed. Afterwards, after giving the necessary explanations to the patient and receiving his/her approval, the process is initiated.

The psychiatry and psychotherapy process is a path walked together based on the trust relationship formed between the therapist and the client. At the end of this path, it is aimed that the complaints the client had at the time of application improve and that the reasons for applying are treated.
